Jennie & Lewis' Thoresby Courtyard Wedding Blog.

It was always going to be an exciting day photographing Jennie & Lewis' wedding. From the moment they booked with us we could see the vibrance and love between them both as well as their amazing choice of venue which was the Thoresby Courtyard, Nottinghamshire.

We first met with Jennie at her mums house near Wakefield. The house was buzzing with nerves and excitement but there wasn't any doubt that it was going to be a great day. Her three bridesmaids helping all the way as well as keeping the nerves at bay.

After shooting some preparations we headed off to the Clumber Hotel & Spa to finish off the preps and for Jennie to put on her dress. She looked amazing and couldn't wait to get the ceremony under way. We then headed off to Perlethorpe Church to have our first meeting with Lewis. As we pulled up to the church, Lewis and his groomsmen were first there to meet us and immediately we cracked on with some shots. Laughing most of the way through the groom and groomsmen shots we felt so comfortable and knew we were going to get the best images for them.

Jennie arrived at the church and the proceedings started. The ceremony was fantastic and the church allowed for some amazing shots.

After the ceremony we cracked on with the group shots with the amazing church as a backdrop then headed off for their bride and groom shots. The best way to get great wedding images is to be comfortable with your bride and groom and in this case they were amazing with us.

We headed off up to the Thoresby Courtyard to get our first viewing of the decor. You couldn't ask for more. The place looked fantastic and we knew the rest of the day was to be perfect. Jennie and Lewis heading in for their picnic wedding breakfast and we sat down to edit for the evening slideshow.

We met some great friends and family of Lewis & Jennie's and we are so great full for how they made us feel so welcome.

We both wish Lewis & Jennie all the best and we hope you're having an amazing time away.

Big thanks and congratulation again.

Your photographers.
