Amy & Will's Aston Church & Peak Edge Hotel Derbyshire Wedding Photography Blog.

6th of August was the big day and we knew it was going to be a good one. We knew Amy & Will right from their pre-wedding shoot were going to be ace and pretty adventurous. Even on their pre-wedding shoot they were both up for trying out a few different types of shots which we then knew would be great on the day.

We started the bridal preps at Amy's parents house and everything was pretty chilled and we started to get on with shooting the day as well as being made to feel very welcome and offered food and drinks!

By the time Amy had her dress on and a few shots later it was time to head over to Aston Church to meet with Will and all 7 of his Groomsmen.

We had a beautiful sunny day so far and we could see Will heading down the road after a cheeky drink in the local pub with his men. All prepared and ready we did the groomsmen shots as well as all their guests who were arriving to celebrate their day.

Amy wasn't too far behind arriving in a classic car with her father looking proud as anything ready to enter the church to say their vows. The ceremony was fantastic and luckily we still had plenty of good weather for when they left the church for their group shots and still with plenty of time to get to the Peak Edge Hotel in Derbyshire.

As we arrived in the openness of the peaks the temperature cooled and the skies turned a little moodier. We were greeted by a lovely wedding coordinator who ran through the rest of the day with us when Amy and Will arrived over the hill in their classic wedding car.

The Peak Edge Hotel is fantastic for getting bride and groom shots as round the back lies a huge pond with the most amazing large carp swimming around for you to see. A bridge straddles the pond which is fantastic for shots as well as the vast openness of the peaks surrounding you.

After some great speeches guest gathered outside for a few games and also a family challenge of tug of war. Not quite sure who won but it made for some great shots.

The rest of the evening was fantastic with nothing being too much trouble for the amazing couple as they and their guests danced the night away.

Massive thanks to both of you for being ace and we both wish you all the best.

Big Love

Nick & Nic
