Anne & Mike's Richmond, North Yorkshire Wedding Blog.
Welcome all to our latest blog.
So, what can we say about Anne & Mike apart from what a fantastic laid back couple they are. Anne & Mike originally got in touch with us after seeing our "Wedding Photographers Shoot Their Own Wedding" blog on Britains top wedding blog "Brides Up North" and after a short Skype call they decided to book us their and then which was fantastic. Our first real life meeting though was for their pre-wedding shoot where they made the trip down from Middlesborough. From the off we knew they were a great couple and the pre-shoot ended in having a pint at the local pub! After hearing more about their day we were totally excited to be part of it and knew we would be left to our own devices to do what we do best.
So, the big day came and we set off for the one hour thirty minute journey up to Richmond. We were to meet at the Castle House B&B right in the centre to start the bridal preps. As we arrived the bridal party were finishing their breakfast and preparing for the day ahead. In great spirits and to a warm welcome we proceeded to get some great shots.
After a while it was time to head over to the church where they were to be married. This was only a short distance away and we were met by Mike and his Groomsmen who were also very warm welcoming and ready to get some shots. With guests also arriving and getting them all so important candid shots it was time for the ceremony which went ace followed by some group shots outside.
After this we headed over to Mike's parents house where they had a huge marquee set up in the back field. They had chosen an amazing rustic/vintage feel to their decorations and people relaxed for the rest of the afternoon.
After speeches and more relaxing it was time to cut the cake, get on with the first dance and really get the party started.
We can't thank Anne and Mike enough for being so cool with us an hopefully see you both in the future.
Big thanks and big congrats to the both of you.
