Time to jump on a plane a shoot a wedding in Guernsey
So it really was time to jump on a plane in May and head over to the beautiful Island of Guernsey for the well looked forward to wedding of Sarah & Phil. As we made our decent onto the island we could see how amazing this was going to be.
Phil was waiting for us at the tiny airport and drove us to all our key locations and even to the magnificent Old Government House Hotel where their reception was to be held. Excitedly we arrived at our Hotel getting really giddy for the next day ahead.
We met with Sarah in the morning for her bridal preps and was also greeted by her lovely family and gorgeous lurcher who was willing to pose for a few shots and after we shot what we needed we were off to meet with Phil at St Martins Parish Hall in wait for their marriage.
The ceremony took place with many of their family and friends and smiles all around before we headed off to the lighthouse at the main town of St Peter Port for a few shots on their own. This really is such an idillic town and a dream to be able to shoot there.
The Old Government House was nothing short of fabulous with views across the port and some nice surroundings for a little mini night shoot. Guests danced the night away while real ale was served from barrels.
Massive congratulations to Sarah & Phil on what was an amazing day and a big big thanks for choosing us to be your photographers.
Big Love
Nick & Nic
