We've know Emily & Kingsley a while now and when they asked us to be their wedding photographers we were not only honoured but exited at the prospect of shooting two great peoples wedding. We knew they were both up for a little experimentation with our photography as you will see in the later shots but we also knew how natural they would be..............
Our Own Little Family "Walk In The Woods"
Photography is not only our job but our personal passion and hobby. When we have free time with our boys Olen and William we love to explore the woods near our home in Kimberworth, Rotherham, South Yorkshire. We always take our camera's so we can capture our boys in a natural way while they play and chase the family dog Lola. Olen is the truly adventurous brother and tries to show William the way! William on the other hand is always in the mud! Not always by choice - His nickname is `Mr Clumsy'. To view snotty noses and muddy faces please see below!

Natalie & Chris' Engagement shoot & Wortley Hall.
We first met Natalie & Chris back in the summer of 2015 when they came to our Rotherham Photography studio to discuss the plans of their big day. We all knew we'd work really well together so our next step was to arrange their complimentary engagement shoot. We arranged the shoot at their wedding venue Wortley Hall Hotel, Barnsley, South Yorkshire.
Wortley Hall Hotel is an incredible venue with the most amazing grounds. This is one of our personal favourites! Natalie and Chris looked the part for the shoot with Natalie looking very spring like in her colorful outfit. We did a walk of Wortley Hall's extensive grounds coming away with a variety of shots to show Natalie and Chris. The light drizzle didn't stop us from having a very successful shoot with a fantastic bride and groom to be! We are very excited to be shooting the wedding of Natalie and Chris shortly.

This is Tom and his men at Ringwood Hall Hotel in Chesterfield.
This shot is actually taken from a double page album spread supplied by our finest album suppliers Graphi Studio.
We shot this just before the ceremony while Emma was up in their gorgeous bridal suite getting ready. Using a combination of natural and flash lighting we managed to get these shots in no more than 5 minutes. We are all about working with the bride and groom to make sure their day is their, not ours!

Thanks for reading and if you've not yet found your wedding photographer please get in touch so we can discuss your day further.
We love weddings.

Kim & Matt Engagement Shoot.
The location for our next shoot of the day was Keppel's Column, Rotherham, South Yorkshire. A stunning location with the most magnificent views. It's always really windy here so lots of warm clothes is a must! Kim and Matt are a fun, enthusiastic couple who really took to the shoot well even though we were trecking through lots of mud! We wandered right down into the fields to ensure we had a wide range of different location shots. We loved shooting the engagement shoot of Kim and Matt as they kept us smiling and laughing throughout. Not long now until the big day and we are raring to go!

Gemma &Chris' Wedding At The Garrison, Sheffield, South Yorkshire. Wedding Photography.
From our very first meeting with Gemma & Chris we knew we were going to get on great. One chilled out happy go lucky couple with a love for all things brass!!! Instruments that is! Their engagement shoot was shot in Wentworth where I don't think we stopped laughing from start to finish. Most couples are slightly nervous at the start of their engagement shoots but after a couple of shots its all easy going.
Their wedding was at The Garrison in Sheffield, somewhere we hadn't shot before but as usual we made arrangements to meet there and discuss timings and have a full viewing of the building. Its an absolutely great venue with so much scope we weren't left with a lack of ideas for shots.
There big day finally came on the 28th December 2015 and went brilliantly from start to finish. We were both made to feel so welcome by both sets of families and their friends and we cant thank them enough. This winter wedding gave scope for some of our favourite dark evening shots. Have a peek below for a small selection of engagement shots and their big day images.
Big thanks and big congratulation again to Gemma & Chris.

Laura & James' Wedding at The Stables, Doncaster.
Last week saw us shooting Laura & James' wedding at Swinton St Margaret's Church then off to The Stables just on the edge of Doncaster.
There was a slight bit of nervousness about the weather for the day as all week before we'd had glorious sun and the forecast for the Saturday showed heavy rain...........all day......
Well it did start off raining...quite a lot but Laura wasn't phased and knew no matter what the weather, it would be a great day.
Starting in Swinton for the bridal prep photography the off to the church for a 12 o'clock wedding. We met James at no other place worthy of a Swinton St Margaret's wedding but at the Ring 'o' Bells pub just down the driveway to the church. In great spirits we went off with umbrellas above to get some groom, best men and usher shots. Obviously friend's for a long time this came over in their shots.
Still raining when Laura arrived but Laura looked stunning as she walked down the aisle with her father.
As we'd been inside for a while in the church we didn't really know what the weather was looking like outside but we had group shots on our mind so had fingers crossed for a pause in the rain.
After the ceremony we made our way outside and to our surprise the rain had stopped, so we cracked on with the group shots then quickly off to The Stables.
From then it didn't rain for the rest of the day and actually turned out pretty good.
Don't trust the BBC Weather app!!!
Anyway after the wedding breakfast and speeches it was off for a great night for all.
We had an amazing day and wish Laura & James all the best for their future together.

After seeing that the USA are bracing themselves for some pretty bad snow later today it reminded me of one of our winter snowy wedding images. Yorkshire has seen very little in the way of snow this year but hopefully February will pull it out of the bag. Hope everyone who are affected in the USA keep safe.

Claire & Richard. The Phesantry Brewery, Newark, Lincolnshire.
December last year saw us shooting Richard & Claire's wedding celebrations at the Pheasantry Brewery near Newark. Although they had married the previous week in an intimate ceremony this was to mark the occasion with family and friends.
The brewery which is a slightly hidden building among the fields and trees was the perfect wedding venue. They held their evening meal in the teepee on the back garden with around 50 guests who were kept warm by the internal fireplace.
The dark winter evening gave for some amazing shots with the mood of the sky and remote location. A band of rain headed over producing a dramatic skyline.
Big congratulations to Claire & Richard, we thank you for choosing us as your wedding photographers and we wish you all the best.
