An industrial Kelham Island wedding in Sheffield , Yorkshire.
We knew Paul and Nigel would be ace after our first meeting at our Elsecar Heritage Centre Wedding Studio. Such a chilled out couple who just wanted a great day with their family and friends and also a bit of liveliness in the evening.
Paul & Nigel started their preps in the morning at the Royal Victoria in Sheffield before heading over to Kelham Island Museum to make sure everything was in order but we couldn't resist grabbing them both for a few shots beforehand at the painted wall art across the road. This place really isn’t short of shots for a wedding photographer and after shooting a few weddings here now we’re always finding something new.
Onto an emotional ceremony and a choir singing their hearts out for everyone the rest of the day went as planned. A fab meal of pie and peas {thank you both for including us on this} and a surprise flash mob dance after the first dance the evening was in full swing with the dance floor never being empty.
Kelham Island really is one of our favourite venues with an array of opportunities for any wedding photographer. This mixed with amazing staff and on top of it all a fab groom & groom we couldn’t be happier to have shot their big day.
