This was certainly a wedding we had been getting excited for and had been booked for a long time. It was great as we have already shot Lisa's brothers wedding the year before and had such a great time with two fantastic people so we knew if that was anything to go by then we were in for a treat...............................

It's always great to meet fantastic people on pre-wedding shoots. Sarah & Phil were no exception. On a boiling hot April afternoon we met at Wortley Hall, Yorkshire to get their pre-wedding shoot underway. Phil & Sarah are to be married on the beautiful island of Guernsey which is also Sarah's home land. We really can't wait to be flying out for this one………
So the title of this blog is pretty self explanatory. It's all about fun. We seem to see so many shots recently which take on the moody and romantic side of wedding photography which is totally ace and we certainly post these type of shots on our various social media and website but lets just for a moment bring a few smiling happy faces to our blog to cheer up the week. …………….
Its always nice to revert back to the good old days of photography and turn that image into black and white. Out of all the images our couples receive we always make sure that there are a good amount of black and white converted. .....................
So we received a message through our website stating that Michael Parkin & Hannah Morgan were to be getting married in Wales and would we like to be their photographers.................................................
2017 saw us shooting a fair few weddings at Wortley Hall and we loved every minute. Ever bride and groom as well as every different set of family and friends brought their own personalities to make every day very different.......................
Joanne & Mark really were the perfect bride and groom and probably the most laid back bride and groom ever. With their three lovely little boys running all over the place having the time of their life, Mark & Joanne’s day was a blast. The Crown Hotel at Bawtry was the perfect wedding photography location and a first for us shooting there too. The beautiful hidden garden held entertainment for their guests while the late evening reception went off with a bang. We’d love to say a big congratulations to you both and thank you for being ace with us all day……
I remember the first time Natalie & Nicky got in touch and wanted to meet us to secure us for their wedding day. We met at our Elsecar Heritage Centre studio and both myself and Nic left the meeting feeling positive that we had just made a great wedding booking with two lovely people.............................................
We first met Amber & Tim at one of our Elsecar Heritage Centre wedding fayres where we were totally chuffed to be booked by them and for a venue we hadn't shot at before. Their big day soon came around and it was great to be able to cover both bride and groom preps on the day.............................................................
6th of August was the big day and we knew it was going to be a good one. We knew Amy & Will right from their pre-wedding shoot were going to be ace and pretty adventurous. Even on their pre-wedding shoot they were both up for trying out a few different types of shots which we then knew would be great on the day.........................................................................
