It’s always a pleasure to shoot at a venue that we’ve never shot at before and even more of a pleasure to be shooting two amazing peoples wedding there too. Even thought this was one windy day nothing could stop the smiles coming from Charlotte & Simon on what was to be an ace day…………..
It’s always really nice to shoot a wedding at a location that we have not shot at before and to make it even more special it was New Years Eve!!!……………
As we’d never shot here before it was great for Jess & Matt’s date to finally come around. Really looking forward to meeting with the excited couple we drove to Derbyshire to get the day started……….
As always with our Bride & Grooms, Rebecca & Keiron were nothing short of epic. From our initial meeting through to the pre-wedding shoot and wedding day everything was ace……..
From the first moment we met a year ago we knew this was going to be one amazing wedding. Josie and Bruce knew exactly what they wanted from their wedding day and were prepared to put in the hard work to make it fantastic......and they certainly pulled it off………….
Arriving early we set to work in the extensive grounds of Hodsock Priory before heading to see Amy in the bridal prep room. Cool as a cucumber Amy was as hair and makeup took place and a few bubbles were drank looking over the stunning grounds. Her bridesmaids and mother were enjoying the morning to its fullest as we shot off to meet with the groom Rob and his guys round in the Courtyard. After a few shots we arranged to meet later round at the house to get some cracking images of them all……………
While away in New York, USA shooting a wedding we found ourselves in a bar watching England play in the World Cup. We struck up a conversation with a fellow brit sat next to us. Phil explained he was due to tie the knot with his lovely fiancé, Alice the following April. Talk soon turned to an actual wedding booking with them a couple of months later and we were soon planning our trip from Yorkshire to Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire to shoot their wedding photography……….
We first met Ròisín & PJ at a previous wedding we shot of Larah & James last year in Nottingham where Ròisín was a bridesmaid. We immediately hit it off during their bridal preps and made sure this lasted the rest of the day........................................................
This hidden gem of a hotel in Manchester city centre was the perfect setting for Gatty & Dean’s wedding. Having never shot at the Great John Street Hotel before we made the trip down the night before to scout out the area and suss out all the best areas for shooting. This hotel really has all the attention to detail and luxury you’d ever want……
Yeah, we'd been waiting for this one for a while. What an opportunity we had been given to be shooting a wedding in the big smoke!
So it was Lisa & Rob's big day and so much had been planned. We were both well excited for this one as we had travelled down to London for their pre-wedding shoot in late 2016 and had an amazing time as well as getting some great shots.....................................................
