Sarah and Phil's wedding in St Peter Port, Guernsey
Venue: Guernsey
So it really was time to jump on a plane in May and head over to the beautiful island of Guernsey for the long-awaited wedding of Sarah & Phil. As we made our descent onto the island, we could see how amazing this Guernsey wedding was going to be.
Phil was waiting for us at the tiny airport and drove us to all our key locations, including the magnificent Old Government House Hotel where their reception was to be held. We arrived at our hotel excited and getting really giddy about the day ahead.
We met Sarah in the morning for her bridal preps and were greeted by her lovely family and her gorgeous lurcher, who was happy to pose for a few shots. Once we had what we needed, we were off to meet Phil at St Martin’s Parish Hall to wait for the ceremony.
St Peter Port and the Old Government House Hotel
The ceremony took place in front of many of their family and friends, with smiles all around, before we headed off to the lighthouse in St Peter Port, the island’s main town, for a few shots of the two of them on their own. It really is such an idyllic town and a dream to shoot in.
The Old Government House Hotel was nothing short of fabulous, with views across the port and lovely surroundings for a little mini night shoot. Guests danced the night away while real ale was served from the barrel.
Massive congratulations to Sarah & Phil on what was an amazing day in Guernsey, and a big, big thanks for choosing us to be your photographers.
Big love
Nick & Nic
