A mix of candid, contemporary and natural photography. Our images have evolved over nearly twenty years of shooting weddings and we have worked hard on our understanding, ability and editing to create images that stand out. Most couples come to us purely for that style.

We are full-time professional photographers with a reputation built over nearly 20 years and 800+ weddings. We know every do and don’t of a wedding day, we are fully insured (public liability and professional indemnity), and we shoot on top-of-the-range Canon equipment backed by high-end computers, hardware and software. Every step is taken to make sure your images are stunning and safe.

Your images are usually online within two weeks of your wedding. You get a personal, password-protected online gallery (plus a mobile phone app) where you can view and download every image in high resolution.

Not at all — 99% of people say exactly this and we get it. We put a lot of effort into making you feel comfortable, because that is what shows in the final result. Natural is always best, and we describe ourselves as photo ninjas: capturing the real moments when you and your guests least expect it.

Yes, of course. We shoot most of our weddings outside Yorkshire. Our weddings have taken us all over the UK and overseas, including New York, Ibiza, Italy, Spain, Ireland and Guernsey.

Once you have asked us to be your photographers we take a £200 deposit to secure the date. The remaining balance is due one month before the wedding.

We have shot more than 800 weddings over nearly 20 years and are usually booking two to three years in advance. We very rarely advertise or attend wedding fairs — around 95% of our enquiries come from word of mouth and venue recommendations.

For every full-day collection, yes — two photographers, and it is always Nick & Nic. Collection One is a six-hour option covered by Nick alone.

Yes. A pre-wedding shoot is included in Collection Five and can be added to any other collection. It is the best way for us to get to know each other, and you can choose an image from it for your mounted signing board, which we bring along on the day for your guests to sign.

As early as you can. Popular dates book up quickly — sometimes up to three years in advance — so send a request with your date and venue as soon as you have them and we will confirm availability straight away.
