Amy and Rob's wedding at Hodsock Priory, Nottinghamshire

Arriving early, we set to work in the extensive grounds of Hodsock Priory in Nottinghamshire before heading to see Amy in the bridal prep room. Amy was as cool as a cucumber while hair and makeup took place and a few bubbles were drunk looking out over the stunning grounds. Her bridesmaids and mother were enjoying the morning to the full as we shot off to meet the groom, Rob, and his guys round in the courtyard. After a few shots, we arranged to meet them later round at the house to get some cracking images of them all.

It wasn’t long before the ceremony was underway, and Amy looked stunning arm in arm with her father as she walked down the aisle. The ceremony went perfectly in the most beautiful of rooms, followed by a short walk outside to feel the heat of a gorgeous day ahead.

We couldn’t resist taking Amy & Rob off for a few shots, although the sheer number of options for wedding photography at Hodsock Priory is totally overwhelming. We fitted in pretty much everything we could, though, before it was time for the all-important speeches and wedding breakfast.

The rest of the day was so relaxing, with everyone outside chatting away and even playing the odd game of croquet, which led into some evening dancing.

It was fantastic to work again with Ben, the amazing videographer at Beed Studios, and with the fantastic staff at Hodsock Priory, who made us feel so welcome.
