Carys and Nick's wedding at Berkswell Church and a family marquee

After an incredible pre-wedding shoot, which now seemed a lifetime ago, we were so excited about shooting Carys and Nick’s wedding at Berkswell Church in Warwickshire. Carys and Nick are a wonderful couple who are so friendly and easy-going.

We were lucky to be staying near the wedding venue the night before, so we could be up bright and early for the day ahead. We made our way to Carys’s parents’ house for the bridal preps, which was also going to be the wedding reception venue. Wow! We were amazed by the stunning family home, the gardens and the huge marquee! The sun was shining, and we knew we were in for a treat.

Bridal preps and Berkswell Church

We started the bridal preps in the bright conservatory and even managed to take Carys’s wedding dress outside. The dress was beautiful and handmade by the bride’s mum!

We then made our way to Berkswell Church for the ceremony. The church was in the perfect countryside setting, just right for our couple and the day’s theme. We met our groom, Nick, and all his groomsmen for a few pre-ceremony shots. The atmosphere was fun and upbeat.

After the ceremony we headed outside to begin the group shots and to capture some personal shots of the new Mr and Mrs Grayson.

Back to the marquee

After this we drove the short distance back to the marquee, where Pimm’s and fun garden games were on offer. Our bride and groom enjoyed a yummy wedding breakfast, followed by speeches and plenty of laughter.

We even had plenty of time for a night shoot! What a fantastic day. We thoroughly enjoyed it and want to thank Carys, Nick and all their family and friends for making us feel so welcome.
