Charlotte and Simon's wedding at Swancar Farm, Nottinghamshire

It’s always a pleasure to shoot at a venue we’ve never shot at before, and even more of a pleasure when it’s the wedding of two amazing people. Charlotte & Simon’s wedding at Swancar Farm in Nottinghamshire was one windy day, but nothing could stop the smiles on what was to be an ace day.

This wedding venue really does have it all, with amazing attention to detail inside and out. We knew we had a great day ahead of us.

After the bridal preps, and taking the groomsmen out for some cool shots, we headed into a stunningly decorated ceremony room, where all their family and friends gathered to see them tie the knot.

After the ceremony, although it was still very windy, we managed to gather everyone outside for a confetti throw and then pinched Charlotte & Simon for a quick walk round the venue to get them some amazing shots. The sky was blue, and they both looked ace, with the stunning Swancar Farm surroundings as their backdrop.

The rest of the day went perfectly, with some emotional speeches and a fab first dance. We also couldn’t resist taking them both out for a night shoot to add to the already cracking shots we’d managed to get in the daylight.
