Melissa and Nick's December wedding at Northbrook Park, Farnham

What a stunning wedding we had been invited to shoot: Melissa & Nick’s wedding at Northbrook Park, on the west side of Surrey, just outside the idyllic town of Farnham. This Grade II listed building has everything to get an excited photographer’s mouth watering.

As all wedding photographers know, you’ll be fighting against the light at a December wedding, but luckily they had an early ceremony, giving us a great chance to use what natural light was available.

We started the day at 8am with a very happy Melissa at Northbrook Park for her bridal preps, before heading over to see Nick and his guys, who were also in high spirits and ready for the day ahead. Before long the ceremony was underway, and luckily the rain just about held off for our trip back to Northbrook Park. Although it was a little cold, Melissa & Nick didn’t bat an eyelid as we scoured the grounds to get some fantastic shots before the sun disappeared.

The attention to detail they had put into their reception room was fantastic, making it such a gorgeous room for all their lovely family and friends to enjoy.

Our night finished with some epic dancing and a sparkler parade.
