Some weddings are all about elegance, some are all about emotion, and some are simply packed with fun from start to finish. Olivia and Mason's wedding at Unique Occasions in Loversall was definitely all of these, and we loved every minute of photographing it.

From the moment we arrived, it was clear this was going to be a relaxed, laughter-filled day. Olivia and Mason were an absolute dream to photograph—completely themselves, up for anything, and determined to enjoy every second with their family and friends. Those are the weddings we love most because the genuine moments happen naturally.

Unique Occasions in Loversall provided the perfect setting for a celebration full of smiles, hugs, and plenty of dancing. Whether we were capturing the ceremony, the confetti, the speeches or those spontaneous moments on the dance floor, there was never a shortage of amazing memories to photograph.

Nick and Nic, where do we even start? You two are pure magic!

From our very first conversations, everything felt so comfortable and easy, like we had known you forever. From those initial chats, to receiving our final gallery, and everything in between, you have been second to none. We honestly don't have the words to express our gratitude in a way that feels sufficient.

We knew we wanted Photogenick to capture our special day from the moment we came across your beautiful work on Instagram, and we were absolutely delighted when you had our date available. In the lead-up to the wedding, we had a few calls, and Nic was amazing when she rang a few days beforehand to finalise everything. It genuinely put my mind at ease and made me feel like we were in the safest hands.

On the day, you both made us feel instantly comfortable and completely honoured our biggest request: that we wanted to be as present as possible with each other and our guests, without the traditional conveyor belt style of wedding photography. You quietly captured everything we'd asked for without it ever feeling intrusive or like a chore. Instead, you made the most of beautifully candid, natural moments and created the most perfectly raw, authentic photos of us and the people we love. They are, without question, the most beautiful photos we have ever seen.

You were also so much more than photographers. Without ever being asked, you became an extra pair of hands whenever we needed you, taking my veil in and out between shots when it was driving me mad; carrying bits and pieces as we moved between locations, and just mucking in with whatever needed doing to make the day easier for us. By the end of the day, you genuinely felt like part of the family, and how special is that?

You are both true experts at what you do, making everything look effortless. Your ability to read the room, adapt to whatever was happening, and spot opportunities for incredible photos is something really special. Whether it was noticing the sunset was absolutely perfect and whisking us away at just the right moment, or spotting an amazing vineyard backdrop as we were riding down to the reception barn and having Nick stop the tractor so we could jump off for a few photos, every decision felt instinctive and resulted in some of our favourite images.

We're also usually quite awkward in front of a camera, but you directed us so naturally that we never felt uncomfortable. Somehow you managed to get exactly the photos we'd hoped for without anything feeling forced. And somehow you even herded all 100 of our guests into the paddock for group photos in what felt like record time! Every one of those moments that I'd expected to take forever was over in half the time andturned out better than I ever imagined.

I'd heard so many stories of wedding galleries taking months and months to arrive, so when our full gallery landed just two weeks later, we could not believe it. That turnaround is honestly unheard of, and we will always be grateful for the incredible amount of work that must have gone into making that happen. We were actually on our honeymoon when we got the email and immediately went back to our room to spend hours looking through every single photo. It might even have been one of the best memories of the whole trip.
